You will also be able to see divers combats and figures in quick movement, and strange expressions of faces, and outlandish costumes, and an infinite number of things which you can then reduce into separate and well conceived forms." - Wikipedia

The most wonderful and exciting aspect of working in charcoal pigment, is the flexibility and freedom the medium affords, to alter and add to the drawing at any given time.  Imagined shapes of all kinds appear within the shapes of the tree and which recall many happy childhood days spent watching the changing shapes of clouds and forms which emerged. Stimulating the imagination of the mind.
