"I stood at the top of a flight of stairs at my office block  with sunlight streaming through a window behind and reminisced - in a few weeks time l'll be retiring and won't be casting my shadow any longer on these steps l've been treading for thirty five years.  l might change the title slightly once completed. . . 'Chasing Shadows of a Working Man'. "

Face 2: Obscured and helpless faces captured momentarily through the gap of a passing railway cage. l would have imagined that's what might have been witnessed on their journey to Auchwitz-Birkenau or the other internment death camps.
